I don’t know where this company has been hiding but I am so glad I found them. I used to use Yankee Candle only because of the selection of scents. But I never really thought they were that great. They didn’t burn clean, the scent didn’t last long, and they are not a great price for the quality you get. Then I found PetHouse Candles and was totally blown away! They smell amazing and not artificial like some candles. They have a really natural, beautiful, clean smell. They take away the smell my dogs leave behind instantly. I have 3 dogs and I keep my house clean but no matter how clean it is, living with 3 dogs can sometimes leave a funk. I put this orange spice candle on the warmer, turned it on and within 15 minutes the scent had already spread to the second floor of our home. I could smell it through our home. It was amazing and the scent lasted even after turning my warmer off. Now, for the scent of the candle itself; it’s so warm and inviting. It is a great scent to have on cold winter days. It smells like a warm cup of herbal tea. It definitely smells closer to an autumn or winter smell than a spring or summer scent. The orange is not overpowering. It is the perfect balance between the orange and the spices. I can’t say enough good things about this company and about this candle in particular. I have other scented candles from this company and they are all amazing. I haven’t found one I dislike yet. I know the price is a little high but, trust me, the value is there. Totally worth every cent. Don’t forget, not only does it smell great but it deodorizes the air. It doesn’t just cover up the smell from your animals with fake, perfumey chemicals. So a VERY long story, short…these are the best candles I have found. As long as they keep making them, I will keep buying them. Especially in this scent!
